Who is Houchin’s House of Wizarding Wares?
Keri and Erin Houchin established Houchin’s House of Wizarding Wares in 2011 as a small business in Fort Worth, Texas.
Our primary product is handmade wooden magic wands. Our wands are used by Harry Potter and fantasy fans, practitioners, and art collectors. Whether you are using your wand for cosplay, ritual, or just display, we want your wand to be a reflection of your personality.
Erin is the woodworker and wandmaker. {Read more about how he got started.} Our goal is to produce wands that are as unique as the individual they choose. We do not replicate designs, either our own or someone else’s.
Our wands are made from natural materials – locally found or sustainably grown wood – and are free from toxic stains or finishes. We believe the natural beauty of the wood is important, as is the safety of our customers.
We have an online store and travel to a small number of craft shows and comic conventions.
Visit the shop to see what we have in stock now.
We also accept a limited number of custom wand orders. See our custom wand order page for examples, an overview of the process, and an inquiry form.
